Performance Equestrian purchases shock absorbing back protector business from AMS of France
Since October last year we have been working on the purchase of the shock absorbing back protector business from French manufacturer AMS, and finally we have it all over here and in production.
As a past distributor of the AMS products we know how good they are at providing excellent back protection for all equine sports such as Dressage, Jumping, Trec and Endurance.
The pads have a neoprene outer with a flexible, non toxic, polyurethane gel inner. Available in two types either weighted or non weighted.
The non weighted types come in a variety of shapes to match saddle types and are cut to fit Jumping, Dressage and Endurance style saddles. There is even a range of lightweight pads for Racing and Point to Point.
The weighted pads are designed to provide extra weight to riders who compete in minimum weight competitions such as Racing, Point to Point and Endurance.
They have the same back shock absorbing back protection properties as the non weighted ones and come in weights from 2 to 15Kg.
As well as back protection products we also have a range of weighted girth sleeves and gel filled stirrup pads to ease those aching feet on long rides.
